We are pleased to inform you that the latest technical specifications for the Inbound Release Platform are now available.
Version 1.2.1 of the IRP Message Implementation Guide includes the most recent updates and message structures essential for the go live of IRP – Release 1. These updates will be available in UAT starting March 4th, 2025. We recommend reviewing the documentation carefully to ensure a smooth implementation.

Delay in PN/TS by customs

13 August 2024

 

Belgian Customs has confirmed the postponement of the MASP-C systems, including PN/TS, and is working closely with our IRP team on a new schedule. As soon as a new schedule is available, it will be shared on the MASP planning webpage. We will continue to work on the IRP project independently from Customs and will communicate the schedule to all parties involved.

Update on IRP implementation

Over the past weeks, the project team transitioned the first companies to the Inbound Release Platform. At the request of the logistics sector, customs established a hybrid architecture, enabling a controlled transition plan. During the testing phase, the functionality of the IRP system was confirmed, but a blocking issue in the customs systems was also identified (without operational disruptions). In the coming days, customs will further analyze this issue, then resume the testing phase and discuss the adjusted schedule with the involved companies.

Parallel implementation possible due to hybrid architecture

Upon request of the logistics sector, customs has agreed to a hybrid architecture for parallel implementation of PN/TS and other MASP systems like IDMS and NCTS 5. This adds technical complexity and requires additional development and testing. The Inbound Release Platform will therefore go live on June 10 with a pilot phase in which companies gradually switch, supported by the IRP team and customs.
