NxtPort attaches great importance to the protection of personal data. These are data that allow us to identify you as a natural person. As soon as it is possible to create a direct or indirect link between one or more details and a natural person, this is referred to as personal data. 

 

We will always protect your personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation or "GDPR") including any applicable current or future national or international legislation implementing or replacing the GDPR (hereinafter collectively "Applicable Privacy Legislation").

 

Below is the privacy statement applicable to the various processing operations for which NxtPort acts as a data controller.

This privacy statement applies to the processing of personal data of the following categories of data subjects:

  • People making contact through an e-mail address listed on this website.
  • People with whom we contract for Inbound Release Platform.
  • People enrolling in training.

The data controller processes the personal data they obtain directly from you.

In the context of this processing, your personal data is transferred to third parties.

6. International transfers

In the event that we transfer your personal data to a third country or international organisation (i.e. outside the EEA), we will ensure that your personal data is either transferred only to third countries that are deemed by the European Commission to provide an "adequate" level of protection (a list of adequate third countries is available on the European Commission's website) or if your personal data is not transferred to a country that provides an adequate level of protection, we will provide appropriate safeguards (e.g. enter into EU standard contractual clauses or binding corporate rules with the recipient and implement the necessary additional measures) to ensure that your personal data remains protected in accordance with Applicable Privacy Legislation.

7. Retention period

We will retain your personal data for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected as set out in the diagram above (Section 3). More specifically, the personal data mentioned above is kept for a period of three years from the day the data is stored in our systems. Every year, it is verified which data subjects are no longer active, and these are deleted, irrespective of the above-mentioned three-year retention period.

8. Your rights as a data subject

In accordance with the Applicable Privacy Legislation, you may exercise the following rights (if and to the extent applicable):

  • You can request access to and receive a copy of any personal data we have processed concerning you; 
  • You can also request that your personal data that is incorrect or incomplete be corrected or completed; 
  • You can request that your personal data be deleted
  • You can object to the processing of your personal data, request that we restrict the processing of your personal data or request the portability of your personal data. 
  • You can also object, free of charge, to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes by contacting NxtPort at the address below or by using the unsubscribe link in any direct marketing communication. 
  • If we collect and process your personal data with your consent, you can withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing based on your consent before it is withdrawn.
