Update IRP Users

On 31 January 2026, PN/TS was officially launched in the Belgian ports. Thanks to thorough preparation, most companies connected to the Inbound Release Platform on time, resulting in strong adoption figures and a high number of submitted TSDs. In this update, we share the current status and key figures of the rollout.

9 February 2026

31 January 2026 was the formal deadline for the launch of PN/TS in the Belgian ports. Until the end of March, a tolerance period applies during which companies may temporarily and exceptionally continue to work with the old customs systems.

Thanks to the long and thorough preparation for the launch of PN/TS and Inbound Release Platform, most companies met the 31 January deadline, or exceeded it by only a few days or weeks.

Currently, 61 shipping agents are connected, of which 25 are fully live. In addition, 26 terminals are connected, 18 of which are fully operational. Furthermore, 171 logistics service providers are actively using the platform.

Since 1 December 2025, 410,000 TSDs have been submitted. Approximately two-thirds of these relate to transshipment volumes. The remaining 155,000 TSDs concern import goods within the cargo types ro-ro, containers, and breakbulk. Of these, 110,000 have already been released by customs.

We would like to thank all connected companies for their trust and excellent cooperation. Without this collective effort, such a project would not have been possible.
