The name Syncion reflects the integrated company’s ambition to align organisations, information and systems across the logistics and port community. “Sync” refers to synchronisation, connected operations and alignment, while “ion” symbolises movement, action, energy and progress. Together, they express the company’s focus on building digital solutions that support and strengthen port and logistics operations.
RX/SeaPort and NxtPort to continue as Syncion from 10 July
Following shareholder approval for the integration of RX/SeaPort and NxtPort, the partnership between both companies will become official on 10 July. From that date, they continue together under the new name Syncion.

During the transition period, the products of both companies will continue to operate as usual. Invoices will temporarily be issued by NxtPort while the formal process to establish the joint company and adopt the new name is completed. After the summer, the products will be brought together on a new website, and further updates will follow.
